FLYING FROM USA

Direct flights to São Paulo are available from several US cities. If you’re flying from New York, Latam, United, American Airlines, and Delta offer multiple direct daily flights. Many other routes are also available, including popular options via Miami (through Latam or American Airlines) or Atlanta (through Delta).

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?

At this time, U.S. citizens are not required to obtain a visa to visit Brazil. For further details on entry visas, please consult this portal or your country's consular affairs website. Currently, proof of vaccination against COVID-19 is required to enter Brazil (but not proof of a negative test). However, we recommend that guests check the travel advice closer to their departure to be sure of the latest requirements.

IS BRAZIL SAFE?

Absolutely. Each year, Brazil welcomes millions of visitors, and the country is celebrated for the warmth and hospitality of its people. However, we recommend that our guests exercise the same level of caution they would in any new city. This includes avoiding the display of expensive jewelry and ensuring that phones and wallets are securely stored inside a bag when walking on the streets.

HOW DO I GET AROUND IN SÃO PAULO?

Exploring São Paulo is best done by car. Most visitors might find it more convenient not to rent one; Ubers are widely available and affordable, offering a stress-free way to navigate the busy streets of São Paulo. While certain areas, like Rua Oscar Freire and the neighborhood Jardins, are pedestrian-friendly, we generally advise against walking after dark.
